Gallery Episode is pleased to present, “Expressions,” a group exhibition that celebrates the diversity in ceramics as a medium. Curated by artist Christina Kim, “Expressions” showcases a vibrant collection of pottery from five exceptional artists, each sharing their unique voice and approach to working with clay. 

The exhibition features the following five artists from the local New Jersey/New York area: Joyce Gamble, Christina Kim, Maria Lauren , Eileen Sackman, and Atsuko Watanabe. The pieces in the show reflect the artists’ perspectives, deeply rooted in personal journey, beliefs, and cultural heritage. From traditional techniques to innovative experimentation, the collection features a diverse array of ceramic practices, including carving, surface decoration, sculpting, and wood-firing. The artists invite you to appreciate the various styles and the creativity expressed within this versatile medium.

“Expressions”  will open on October 4, with an opening on Friday, October 4th from 7 to 9pm. The exhibition will be on view from October 4 to October 25, and is free and open to the public.
